Hi, I’m Karl. I’m a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator, shaped by a lifelong fascination with people, place, and the patterns between them.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across boutique agencies, tech scale-ups, and some of the world’s most iconic brands – including Amazon, British Airways, Meta, and Virgin.

Whether I’m stretching the edges of a brand or sparking creative flow across disciplines, I bring a balance of intuition, experimentation, and playful creative energy to every project.

I’ve lived and worked in places like Dublin, Lisbon, Berlin, London, Edinburgh, Cape Town, and Teyateyaneng, Lesotho – each one adding new textures to how I think, feel, and design.

Along the way, I’ve undertaken a master’s in Applied Imagination in Central Saint Martins, led projects across multiple time zones, always nurturing ideas from spark to launch with a strong sense of care and collaboration.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me out surfing, illustrating, or writing. I’ve contributed to publications like Totally Dublin, LeCool, and The Irish Post, and written for theatre and fringe festivals when the moment called for something more performative.

That rhythm of words and waves, and attentiveness to timing and flow, is something I bring into every project.
